Relaxing stay in Le Monet Hotel
For our anniversary, we chose Baguio City. Because of the newly opened Binalonan Exit after TPLEX, we were able to get to Baguio in just 3.5 hrs using this route NLEX-SCTEX-TPLEX via Binalonan Exit then Kennon Road. It was raining hard at that time (August 12, 2016) but we were able to arrive safely in Baguio.
We checked in at the Le Monet Hotel in Camp John Hay, very close to Ayala Technohub. Checking in/out was ok. We availed of the voucher online and made reservation so our room are already ready by the time we arrived at 12nn. The receptionists were really nice and the staff and concierge were friendly and accommodating. They didn't ask me for a deposit though which is ok.
We had the Deluxe room with 2 Queen-sized beds, soft linen and many pillows (we love pillows!). CR is really nice, room quite big but no aircon though. I think they have rooms with aircon but with extra fees and you just need to inform them. I love the room with a balcony and because it's Baguio in August, expect really cold and rainy weather so we didn't mind not having aircon at all because it was already cold as it is. All the good amenities that come with a nice hotel are there.
Internet is slow and you always need to input your password every a couple of minutes which is kinda tiring. So I hope they improve on this. TV is available both in the room and in the CR. Parking is ample though we parked near the restaurants beside the hotel.
They have a restaurant and there are a lot of restaurants near the hotel so you won't have any problem with food.
They have heated indoor pool but it was under maintenance when we went there. They have a small kiddie corner infront of the lobby.
The lobby is really nice with a huge cascading chandelier. It was also where the dining area is located.
Breakfast buffet is a feast. They have unlimited bacon so that makes is extra special. Dining staff are attentive. All in all, we had a great time.
We will definitely come back.
