Cavite: Abagatan Ti Manila

Peaceful and Happy Stay at Abagatan Ti Manila

Spent our New year at Abagatan Ti Manila. Stayed here last Dec 30-Jan 1, 2017.
Abagatan ti Manila is Ilocano for “South of Manila”.
Located in Alfonso, Cavite, very near Tagaytay. It is also near Twin Lakes Tagaytay -- the country's first and only vineyard resort community
Amazing view and nice restaurants so you can try it before/after going to Abagatan Ti.
We bought our food and drinks there.

It was windy and a little rainy when we were there so we didn’t have much time to roam around.
But the place is really, really nice! Very good architecture, it’s so serene and peaceful there.
I also love their lobby – so nice and classy!

True to their handle – it is modern and stylish, with quality and really beautiful pieces of furniture, good design, clean and comfy.
They have a lagoon with ducks located at the entrance. Good for photo ops also.

Though I booked via Agoda, they don’t allow prepay so you have to pay at the hotel.
Checking in/out was very easy. Accommodating, friendly and helpful receptionists and staff.

Breakfast buffet is included – not a spread but sufficient.
They reply fast when we requested for plates and utensils and ice.
And they never miss a call at the reception area because they have a callback feature.

I like that they have a ‘storm glass door’ or whatever you call it before the actual door.
You can open it and lock it without fearing someone might enter your room.
It also lets the sunshine comes in the room.

Room is clean, spacious and modern. Basic amenities are provided.
No view in our room -- just one big water tank
Important to note also that there is no ref inside the room. If you have food or drinks, you can have it stored in their kitchen thru the receptionist.
I wish they consider putting ref inside the room because it is really a hassle to ask them to let them keep your food and drinks for later consumption.
They have hooks to put your best dress but no cabinet.

Parking is plenty. Pool is nice but cold and windy at that time so we didn’t try.
Some are still under construction (new building) so there’s a little mess but manageable.
They have a green house. I saw a signage that they also sell lettuce.

Wifi is fast at the lobby. A little or none at all inside the room.
You have to open the door of the room to get a little signal.

We had our New Year’s dinner there and we enjoyed the show and the buffet food.
Too bad it was raining hard then when it was time for the fireworks display at the lagoon.

We will definitely stay here again and again especially when the constructions are done.
